Haven't asked zoom customer support as of yet as I use my UAC for audio work on my OS X installation which works just fine(Using a Hackintosh). One is working and getting recognized while the other is not which fails to install every time. weird thing is, I can see the UAC-8 which is recognized by windows in device manager.

Reinstalling USB3 intel drivers, removing realtek, reinstalling realtek, installing Asio. Tried everything from Firmware updating, Driver repairing/reinstalling, Wiping USB drivers and reinstalling via safe mode. But then one time when i booted into Windows, it just stopped working. I had my UAC-8 work the moment i installed the drivers on Windows 7. I just found several threads in this forum from people who obviously know and use the device. I searched the web but I haven't found a post from anyone with a similar problem. I tried this several times and it freezes every single time. When I try to switch to the ASIO zoom driver within Propellerhard Reason (that's what I bought it for), Reason freezes. I deinstalled the whole thing and reinstalled it again to no avail. I tried different settings (on, off, stereo) for the direct monitoring but that did not help either. I tried the headphones with other devices. That only seems to be a viable option when you use that thing with an iPad. I tried restarting the device in class compliant mode, but it would disappear in the device manager on Windows. I turned the phones volume all the way up, but there is no sound at all. Problem: I cannot hear anything via the headphones which I connected to the UAC-2, no matter what sounds I send to the device. The zoom control panel works fine too and tells me the device is up and running. The UAC-2 shows up as a sound device in my audio device list and the are no error messages whatsoever.

I installed the drivers as stated in the instruction manual and updated the firmware to 1.1. I am not able to get my new Zoom UAC-2 to work properly with my Windows 10 PC.
